With over 49000 certified members, through provincial constituent members representing 14 disciplines, CCTT is a compelling voice on Canada's productivity gap, labour mobility, and job creation within the technology sector. CCTT currently accredits over 240 college programs for technicians and technologists in Canada, and work in Canada and Abroad to ensure that these programs and their graduates are recognized and can move freely within our borders and in the international marketplace. CCTT core programs include: - National Technology Benchmarks;
- The maintenance of the inter-provincial transferability agreement;
- The accreditation of post-secondary technology programs;
- National advocacy on behalf of technology professionals;
- Trademarks and professional designations; and
- The International Qualifications Database.
CCTT, as the signatory of a number of multilateral agreements on the mutual recognition of technology credentials, enables international mobility of technology professionals. Bilateral agreements between CCTT and its counterparts in the U.K. and the U.S.A. support cross-border transferability of credentials between the three country.
