Engineers Canada Campaign
The results of engineering are everywhere. The profession creates jobs, stimulates the economy and enhances public safety. Canadians need to be aware of the difference engineering makes in their lives, and it is imperative that companies have human capital with the best engineering education and experience to get the job done.
For these reasons and more, Engineers Canada and its constituent associations have embarked on a national, public communications program to enhance the image of professional engineers and the engineering profession across Canada. Follow the links below to see how, with engineering, anything’s possible.

IRON SCIENCE: A SCIENCE SPECTACLE!
The Iron Science challenge is a celebration of science teachers! It champions the creation of high-quality creative approaches to teaching science and engineering and shines a spotlight on skilled and courageous teachers from across Canada.
The event follows a format similar to the famous Iron Chef television series, with teams of teachers presenting spectacular and imaginative feats of science and engineering - built around a "secret ingredient."
Through playoffs at science centres across Canada, five teams are selected to compete in the Iron Science final at the University of Calgary.
With science centres and Discovery Channel as a media partner, this broadband and televised "science spectacle" celebrates innovation today and helps to ignite the spirit in the next generation of Canadians.
Discovery Channel brings the final event to classrooms and teachers everywhere in Canada with a live webcast streamed on www.ironscience.ca and through highlights on the television show, Daily Planet.
